Health insurance, obesity and diabetes are just some of the key health topics included in the new 2011 Health Profiles for seven geographical regions in the state.
Health Profiles include information for adults as well as children and teens. The seven geographical regions are: Los Angeles County, other Southern California counties, the San Joaquin Valley, Bay Area, Sacramento area, Central Coast, and the Northern and Sierra regions.
State estimates are also provided in each region profile.
The 2011 Health Profiles are based on the California Health Interview Survey's (CHIS) continuous survey design, which allows the release of these one-year estimates.
