Shreya Paul, MPA, is a Research Data Manager for the Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) Data Policy Lab at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. At the center, Shreya analyzes data obtained from various surveys to derive and present accurate key statistics about the NHPI communities. Her duties include developing data dashboards, reports, and articles highlighting the needs of the NHPI community.

Before this role, Shreya worked in the field of disability policy research. In that capacity, she bridged the gap between producers and consumers of disability statistics by generating data reports and dashboards derived from nationally representative survey data. She also conducted both quantitative and qualitative research on the employment and health-related experiences of people with disabilities. Additionally, she is experienced in collecting data using surveys and focus groups, and in analyzing the results using a variety of software tools. In the past, Shreya has also led the creation, distribution, and evaluation of a publicly accessible disability statistics curriculum.

Shreya brings her passion for accessibility and universal design to her work. She is dedicated to community-centered data analysis and is committed to making statistics accessible to communities, as these statistics support policies and practices that shape the lives of marginalized populations.
