Farah Sevareid, MPH is a research data analyst for the Health Economics and Evaluation Research (HEER) team at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research (CHPR). She is currently supporting evaluations of the CalAIM Providing Access and Transforming Health (PATH) Initiative, the UCLA Aliso Canyon Disaster Health Research Study, and Los Angeles County's Park after Dark Program.
Prior to joining UCLA CHPR, she worked as a program evaluator for the Exercise is Medicine - On Campus Program at UC Berkeley, which aims to improve the campus community health by making movement a part of daily campus culture, assessing physical activity at every student health visit, and providing a system for university health care providers to refer patients to health educators and fitness specialists.
Sevareid has a master's degree in public health with a concentration in global health and environment from UC Berkeley's School of Public Health. She completed her bachelor of science degree in genetics and genomics from UC Davis and minored in Spanish.
